I was talking with one of the gentlemen that I coach….and THIS CAME UP.

“THE HIGHER THE POTENTIAL…THE HIGHER THE TALENT…THE HIGHER THE RESPONSIBILITY TO BE A GOOD STEWARD OF THOSE THINGS AND ALSO THE RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT IT.”

There are far too many environments that suppress the acknowledgement of “excelling”.

It’s almost as if we would rather settle for fake humility than risk, actually putting into words, that there is something within us that makes us better at some things and also weaker at some too.

You might be reading this…and feel like this connects with you at some level. You might even feel that you aren’t allowed to celebrate the greatness inside of you because it might come across wrong.

Hear me on this. I know about this first hand…at painful levels. The more talented you are…the more influential you are…the more you need to surround yourself with leaders who are “next level” and relationships that allow you to be transparent.

Influence is like a "bomb". You can't control its blast radius unless you have the right mechanisms in place. It could take you backwards just as much as it could take you forward. Click To Tweet

Fake humility creates missed opportunities for growth and change…and also failures. It’s completely OK for you to acknowledge that you have greatness is in you.

This is NOT pride. Pride is thinking that you have greatness in you and that don’t need anyone else in your life. Correction. That’s not pride. That’s stupidity.

There is only ONE person responsible for your potential. YOU. This is why I became a coach. This is why we should talk. Message me when you can. I’d love to help you discover something amazing about yourself.
