Hey Leaders,
This week on The Level Up Leader Podcast, I sat down with Roger Jepsen, Jim Probst, Jim Gacinski, and John Michael Morgan to talk about something that’s reshaping leadership as we know it: Fractional Leadership.
The biggest takeaway? Not every business needs a full-time C-suite—but every business needs leadership.
For many companies, hiring a full-time executive is too much, too soon. But waiting too long to bring in strategic leadership? That’s where businesses stall out. Fractional executives step in, fill the leadership gap, drive results, and build sustainable success—without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire.
Why This Matters for Your Business
✅ Fractional leaders bring fresh perspective—they see the blind spots internal teams miss.
✅ They’re not just advisors—they execute. Strategy means nothing without action.
✅ They drive efficiency—helping teams do more with less, while still scaling effectively.
✅ They’re a game-changer for founders & owners who need high-level leadership without the full-time price tag.
Could fractional leadership be the missing piece in your business? We break it all down in this week’s episode.

The One Trait That Separates Great Leaders from the Rest
This week, someone asked me:
👉 “If you had to name just ONE characteristic that separates the executives you coach who succeed from those who don’t, what would it be?”
Just one?
Yep.
My answer? Bravery.
The leaders who turn their lives around and lead their businesses well own it, face it, and change it. The ones who don’t? They fake it, ignore it, or blame others.
And here’s the thing:
🔹 Bravery is rarely fun.
🔹 Bravery isn’t about ego—it’s about facing what scares the hell out of you and dealing with it anyway.
🔹 Bravery isn’t comfortable—but it’s necessary.
So ask yourself:
👉 Are you staring your challenges in the face and dealing with them?
👉 Or are you avoiding, ignoring, and hoping they go away?
If you’re not confronting what’s holding you (or your business) back, you’re not ready for the next level.
Let’s talk about it. Drop a comment—what’s a moment in your career where you had to be brave?
